Creative Stylist, KH Hair Art Team member, Wella Master Colour Expert and a Wella Trend Vision Regional Finalist. 

I started my career when I was 13 years old at KH Hair Ashbourne, where I completed my NVQ level 2 and then worked my way up as a stylist. In 2008 I opened the KH Hair Tutbury salon with my mum, Salon Director Jane. 

I was on the KH Art Team for over 10 years which gave me the opportunity to work with some of the industry’s finest hairdressers. I have worked on stage at the Salon International and Pro Hair Live. I have worked backstage at London Fashion Week, and I’ve also done many photoshoots including one for Sebastian which took me over to LA. 

I have been on numerous courses which have helped me develop my skills over the years. I’m also a Wella Master Colour Expert, a Wella Trend Vision regional finalist and a Sebastian Cult team finalist. I was also a finalist in the British Hairdressing Business Awards in 2018. As well as this, I have studied trichology. 

I love every aspect of my job, and I am very proud of Team Tutbury and of what I have achieved over my career. Which includes winning many awards at our annual awards evening, such as the colour award, retailer of the year, most improved turnover and salon of the year – THREE TIME!! 

2021 brought me back to my roots, as Salon Director Jane and myself became owners of KH Hair Ashbourne.
